Beautifully decorated room which offered stunning views of the gardens and surrounding vineyards. The breakfast was always fresh and delicious. it would have been nice to have air conditioning for those warmer days.

warm hospitality but distant from local dining
The personalized care from the hosts transformed our experience into something truly exceptional. The cozy ambiance, paired with beautiful garden views from our Superior Luxury Suite, created a serene atmosphere that was perfect for relaxation. the attention to detail in the room's decor, from elegant furnishings to thoughtful amenities, made our stay feel luxurious.
The location, while peaceful, required travel to nearby dining options.

Dining at Devonport was an absolute treat! Their honesty bar is stocked for all your cravings and the breakfast spread really hit the spot—think continental delights and those cheeky hot drinks available anytime! Plus, the lovely shuttle service to nearby gems like Jonkershuis Restaurant makes it so easy to explore the local culinary scene. A real cherry on top are the gorgeous gardens and pool area, perfect for an afternoon cocktail in the sun!
Now, if I'm being cheeky, the only tiny hiccup was the distance from the village. a car is advisable for those evening dinners, though the lifts from their driver were solid.

The Luxury Suite was super cozy with all the necessary amenities, including a heater which felt great in winter. The decor was nice, giving off that old-world charm vibe. Plus, I appreciated how clean everything was—definitely well-maintained. The little touches, like a chocolate at bedtime, made it feel extra special. a really comfortable experience!

missingWrote a review on 25 Mayelegant suitehonesty bargorgeous gardensremote location
The Superior De Luxe Suite impressively blends elegance with comfort, featuring tasteful furnishings and significant attention to detail that elevates the experience. The honesty bar is a cozy touch for indulging in a late-night drink, while the gorgeous gardens invite relaxation under the sun, making it a perfect setting for unwinding after a day's exploration.
Getting to dining options requires a bit of a trek, and while a car is advisable, the remoteness can dilute the overall experience. The tranquility comes with a caveat. some stricter rules around noise levels can limit enjoyment in the evenings, a bit frustrating if you're planning to wind down with a movie or chat over a couple of drinks. The lack of air conditioning also poses a challenge during warmer days, which might feel like an oversight in comfort planning.
